Basically, libfirm does not support __sync_val_compare_and_swap. Sad, but only a GCC extension: http://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/gcc-4.1.2/gcc/Atomic-Builtins.html [^] Nevertheless, a nice error message should be reported instead of a panic. |

actually we do support it, but only if there is hardware support for it. So you need to use at least -march=i686. I will leave this bug report open, because obviously we should fail in a much nicer way (and/or generate a compilerlib call) if hardware support is missing. |
